Lets go shopping.             << Back

When you first enter the Shopnet Supermarket or Cellar Wines (Boutique Wines), you will login as a member or if you have not shopped before, you will be required to signup.

After you have entered the Member's area, you can then continue to shop by clicking "Go Shopping"

The main shop area will open and you will see 3 main panels. The panel to the left is the category selection area. Begin shopping by either selecting a category or using the search facility provided, to locate the products you require.

The central main panel will either display sub categories or the search results if this facility is used.

You can browse through the sub categories by clicking them and this will result in either further categories being displayed or the products that are available within the chosen category.

When you find the products you wish to purchase, click the button and this will add the product to your shopping trolley. This trolley is visible all the time in the right hand panel, thus allowing you to keep track of your expenditure and allowing you to make alterations as you go.

If you require multiple products, such as 5 Ltrs of milk, you can either click the 5 times or click it once and then select the product in your shopping trolley in the right hand panel. Simply highlight the quantity box shown and alter the quantity from 1 to 5. Once this is done, you must click the update button that appears alongside the product, so the changes are updated. This is a very handy tool that can be used at any time during your shopping.

This facility can also be used where product is sold (per 100gr) such as meats, fruit, vegetables, deli items etc. These products can be ordered in any multiples of 100 grams.

If you decide that you do not want a product in you trolley, you can select the delete button and your trolley will automatically update.

Once you have completed your shopping, you can select the button and proceed to the checkout.

The first stage of the checkout is to address your contact details. The fields marked by * are mandatory, however, this information is already placed in the checkout from your personal file and if you have completed your details in total, then all the mandatory fields will be filled.

The next step is to complete the shipping details.

If your delivery details are the same as your contact information, then you simply click "set my shipping details" and the fields will automatically update. You can also add special instructions for your delivery at this time. Once completed, you can click "proceed" to move to the next step.

The next step will confirm the delivery cost and you will need to click "proceed".

The final step is a confirmation of your order and the collection of your credit card details. At this point, you can also give additional information, such as the preferred time of delivery. You must complete the details as required and ensure that you confirm your order by selecting the authorisation button, then click "place order".

How to save time by setting up a standard trolley.             << Back

To make your shopping task easier, you can enter the my account section at any time during your shop and save your current trolley contents. This is particularly useful in setting up a trolley with all the items that you would normally purchase each week or fortnight, depending on your shopping habits. Then each time you enter the supermarket, you can load this trolley and part of your shopping is already completed.

Don't worry about having to purchase all the items in the trolley, as you can alter these at any time. The trolley even updates the pricing of your items to take advantage of any specials that may occur.

Let's assume that you want to setup a weekly shopping trolley with the items you buy each week.

Simply start by going shopping and adding these items to your trolley. Once you have all the items you want, click on the my account link at the top of the screen and you will be taken to your account.

Once there, click the save trolley link and a new page showing the contents of your trolley will be displayed.

Give your trolley a name in the 'Save Note' field and then press the save button.

You will now be returned to your account section and the trolley will be added. When you return next week to do your shopping, you will be able to select this trolley by clicking the load link beside the trolley you wish to use.

Start by selecting the main category in the left column and then choosing a sub category from the list of categories that appear.

Once you have selected the product you want, you can either use the back and top buttons that appear in the main listing or simply select another main category from the left menu.
